I met some friends at Ichiban, a Japanese steakhouse; expensive as hell, but fun and tasty. We then went over to an English-style pub. Since I'm such a world traveler, I can say their attempt at getting the atmosphere right was valiant attempt, but you could tell it wasn't old and lived-in.
Which reminds me ... Knapper is on London right now, and I'm suppose to send him some details on my next shipment of absinthe.
